Referee Badge 2010

By now you should have received a mailing from the US Soccer Federation with your 2010 badge, laws of the game booklet, and your referee id card. If you have not received your 2010 badge and did take the recertification test last year please send an email to moc.reccosasib@treble.nemrac and I will check the whereabouts of your 2010 packet.

Referee Uniforms

Referees should buy the new style, as the old style will be phased out.

The primary uniform still includes the yellow shirt with black stripes, and the alternate colors are : green, black, red and blue.

It is approved and expected that a mixture of old and new styles will be used over the next few years. As before, all three members of a 3-referee crew should wear the same color;  however they will not be expected to wear all the same style.

BISA Referees are Working Hard for You

The Burleson Independant Soccer Association works hard to develop our referees. They attend regular meetings throughout the season. These meetings provide a forum for training and to discuss situations that they experience during a game and how they should respond. Our association has several young referees that are just beginning referee development. This provides them an opportunity to learn many skills that will translate off the field like punctuality, responsibility, communication and how to deal with conflict.

Not a bad deal.
